Wellness Specialist
The Boots Group
Job Description
Do you have a passion for all things wellness? Do you love supporting people to feel healthier, happier, and more balanced in their everyday lives?
If you’re energised by meaningful conversations, enjoy guiding others through their wellbeing journeys, and love exploring how daily routines and mindful practices can help people feel their best from the inside out, this could be the perfect role for you!
We’re looking for a Wellness Specialist to join our in-store team. You’ll champion wellbeing at every touchpoint, helping customers discover routines, products, and habits that support their physical, mental, and emotional health.
On the shop floor, you’ll create empowering, personalised experiences — offering expert wellness guidance, understanding individual needs, and recommending holistic solutions that fit naturally into people’s lives. From boosting everyday vitality to helping customers feel more balanced, confident, and informed, you’ll play a key role in their wellness journey.
About the role
- Reporting to the Assistant Manager, you’ll support all wellness brands, offering expert, unbiased advice to ensure customers receive the best experience every time.
- You’ll use open questions to understand customer needs and offer holistic wellness solutions and products, including our in-store and online services, referring to specialists where needed.
- You’ll use your communication skills every day to connect with customers and support their unique wellness needs.
- This is a sales-based role, but success is shared as a team—there’s no competitive, performance-based commission here
- We take pride in our stores, so you’ll help keep shelves stocked, tidy, and looking their best throughout the day.
What you’ll need to have
These are the essential skills and experience needed to thrive in this role:
- Enthusiasm and passion for all things wellness
- An interest in how holistic wellness practices can support overall health
- A warm, approachable manner and confidence starting conversations with customers
- The ability to put customers at ease so they feel comfortable sharing their wellness concerns
- Self-motivated, sales-driven, and focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience
- A supportive team player who enjoys contributing to collective success
- Digitally savvy, comfortable using technology and supporting an omnichannel shopping experience
- Proactive in learning about new products, services and wellness approaches to deliver a seamless, holistic customer journey.
It would be great if you also have
These skills are desirable but not essential—we welcome applications even if you don’t meet all of them:
- Experience working towards sales targets
- Experience in a retail, healthcare or wellness setting
