Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, and what we never touch — like your job applications.
Last updated: 25 July 2026
Just London Jobs is a trading name of DV Group Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 09689436, VAT number GB 345 437 102). Our registered office is Delta House, 16 Bridge Road, Haywards Heath, West Sussex, RH16 1UA. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration number ZA781106.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. If you have any questions, email us at [email protected].
The short version
We collect as little as we can. Browsing the site needs no account and no personal details. If you apply for a job, your application goes directly to the employer or their recruitment system — it never passes through us and we never see it. We only hold personal details you actively give us: when you contact us, or when you post a job.
What we collect
Everyone who visits
- Server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, kept for security, debugging and abuse prevention.
- Essential cookies — see the cookies section below. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies.
If you contact us
- Your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message, so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation.
If you post a job
- Your details — contact name, email address, phone number if you give one, and a billing address for your VAT receipt.
- The listing — job title, company name and website, location, salary, description and application destination. This content is published on the board; that is the point of the service.
- Payment — payments are handled by Stripe on their own secure pages. We never receive or store your card details. We keep a record of the order: what was bought, the amounts, the VAT, and Stripe's reference for the transaction.
If you apply for a job
Nothing. Applications happen on the employer's website, applicant tracking system, or by email directly to the employer. Your CV and application details go to them, not to us, and their privacy policies apply. We encourage you to read them.
Why we process it, and the legal bases
- Providing the service you asked for (contract): publishing a paid listing, sending your receipt and manage link, replying to your enquiry.
- Running and protecting the site (legitimate interests): security logs, abuse and bot prevention, fixing problems.
- Keeping records the law requires (legal obligation): orders and VAT invoices are accounting records we must retain.
Cookies
We keep cookies to the minimum needed for the site to work:
- Session and security cookies — keep your session working and protect forms against cross-site request forgery.
- Appearance — remembers your light/dark theme choice.
- Cloudflare — our security and delivery provider may set cookies needed to protect the site from malicious traffic.
We do not currently use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. Because every cookie we set is essential to running the site, there is no cookie consent banner to click — there is nothing optional to consent to.
Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with:
- Service providers who run the site for us — Stripe (payments), our hosting provider (Laravel Cloud), our transactional email provider (which delivers receipts and manage links), and Cloudflare (security and content delivery). Each processes data only on our instructions.
- The OpusNode job network. Just London Jobs is part of the OpusNode network of job boards. Published job listings — including the company name, listing content and public application details — may be syndicated to and displayed on other boards in the network to give roles wider reach. This applies to published listing content, not to your billing details, which stay with us.
- Authorities, where legally required — if we receive a lawful request we are obliged to answer.
How long we keep things
- Unpaid draft listings — if you start a posting and don't complete payment, the draft (and the personal details in it) is deleted after 30 days.
- Published listings — remain on the site for their paid duration, then in our systems for a limited archive period before being permanently deleted on a rolling schedule.
- Orders and VAT invoices — kept for at least six years, as UK tax law requires.
- Contact messages — kept as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards.
- Server logs — kept for a short rolling window.
International transfers
Some of our providers (for example Stripe) process data outside the UK. Where that happens, transfers rely on recognised safeguards such as UK adequacy decisions or the international data transfer agreement / standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to our processing of it; or provide it to you in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] — we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk (our ICO registration is ZA781106). We would appreciate the chance to resolve it directly first.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change, and the date at the top of this page will always tell you when it was last revised. Significant changes affecting employers with live listings will also be notified by email.
