Terms of Use

The rules for using the board and posting jobs on it.

Last updated: 25 July 2026

These terms govern your use of Just London Jobs (the "site"), operated by DV Group Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 09689436, VAT number GB 345 437 102), registered office Delta House, 16 Bridge Road, Haywards Heath, West Sussex, RH16 1UA ("we", "us"). By using the site — and, if you post a job, by completing a purchase — you agree to these terms. Questions to [email protected].

1. The service

Just London Jobs is a job advertising board. Listings come from two places: employers who pay to post directly with us, and jobs aggregated from third-party sources and partner feeds. The site is part of the OpusNode job network — a group of job boards operated or partnered by us — and listings may be shared across boards in that network (see section 5).

We are an advertising platform, not a recruitment agency and not an employer. We are not a party to any application, interview, offer or employment contract that results from a listing.

2. Using the site

You may browse and search the site freely for personal, non-commercial use. You must not:

  • misuse the site, interfere with its operation, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it;
  • scrape, harvest, or bulk-copy listings or other content by automated means without our written permission (legitimate search-engine indexing is welcome);
  • republish or resell site content, or use it to build a competing database or service;
  • submit anything unlawful, misleading or malicious through any form on the site.

3. Job listings and applications — important

  • Listings are supplied by employers and third-party sources. We do not verify every listing and cannot guarantee any listing is accurate, current, genuine or still open.
  • Applications never happen on this site. Applying takes you to the employer's own website or system, or opens an email to them — what happens from there, including how they handle your personal data, is between you and them, under their terms and policies.
  • Use your own judgment. A legitimate employer will never charge you a fee to apply. If a listing looks suspicious, please report it to us and we will investigate.
  • External sites we link to are outside our control and we accept no responsibility for them.

4. Paid job postings

  • Your contract with us is formed when payment for a listing completes. You will receive a VAT receipt by email.
  • Listings normally publish immediately on payment and run for the duration of the package you bought, or until any closing date you set, or until you take the listing down — whichever comes first.
  • You can edit the description, salary and application details of a live listing, or take it down early, using the manage link emailed to you. Taking a listing down early does not entitle you to any refund of the unused period.
  • You are responsible for keeping your manage link secure. Anyone with the link can edit or end the listing.

Your listing must:

  • describe a genuine, currently open vacancy (not a talent pool, course, business opportunity or multi-level marketing scheme);
  • be lawful, accurate and not misleading, and comply with UK law including the Equality Act 2010 — discriminatory requirements are not permitted;
  • not charge applicants any fee at any stage;
  • not contain unlawful, defamatory or infringing material, and only content you have the right to publish.

We may edit formatting for consistency, and we may decline, suspend or remove any listing that breaches these terms, is reported and found problematic, or that we reasonably believe harms the site or its users — without refund where the breach is yours.

5. Network syndication

By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, promote and distribute your listing content — including on other boards in the OpusNode network and in search-engine and social previews — for the purpose of advertising your vacancy, for the life of the listing and any archive period. Syndication is included in the price; where your listing appears may vary and is not guaranteed.

6. Payments and refunds

  • Prices are as displayed at the time of purchase, plus VAT. Payment is taken by Stripe on their secure checkout; we never see your card details.
  • Because a listing is published and the service performed immediately, fees are non-refundable once your listing has been published. By completing payment you request immediate performance and acknowledge that the right to cancel a service contract does not survive its full performance.
  • If you have paid and your listing has not published, contact us and we will fix it or refund you in full.
  • Refunds outside these cases are at our reasonable discretion.

7. No guarantees

  • We cannot and do not promise applications, candidates, page views, clicks or hiring outcomes. Advertising reach varies with the role, the market and timing.
  • Traffic statistics, where shown, may include automated (bot) traffic despite the reasonable measures we take to filter it, and are provided as-is.
  • We aim for high availability but the site is provided "as available" — we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may change or withdraw features.

8. Intellectual property

The site, its design, code and our own content belong to us or our licensors. Listing content remains yours (or its owner's), licensed to us as described in section 5. The Just London Jobs and OpusNode names may not be used without our permission.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that:

  • listings and their content are the responsibility of whoever posted or supplied them — we accept no liability for the content of listings, for employers or their conduct, for third-party sites, or for the outcome of any application or hire;
  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, opportunity or data;
  • our total liability to you, however arising, is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose (or £100 if you have paid none).

If you post a listing, you agree to compensate us for losses, claims and costs we incur because your listing or conduct breached these terms or the law.

10. Suspension and ending access

We may suspend or terminate access to the site, or to posting services, for breach of these terms or misuse of the site. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 5, 8 and 9) survive termination.

11. General

  • We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. Changes apply from posting and do not affect listings already purchased.
  • If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it.
  • These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction — except that consumers resident elsewhere in the UK may rely on the protections and courts of their home nation.
