The opportunity

As a Vice President at Proxima in our Capital Procurement practice, you will provide executive leadership across clients, teams, and the firm. This role blends deep domain expertise, client delivery, business development, and thought leadership.

You will lead high-risk, high-growth client programs, shape long-term client strategy, and play a key role in Proxima’s continued growth and market positioning.

What you’ll do

Lead executive-level client engagements

  • Lead complex, high-value programs for senior and C-suite stakeholders
  • Shape and influence client strategy, vision, and transformation agendas
  • Ensure consistent delivery excellence and client satisfaction

Drive growth and market impact

  • Build and manage senior client relationships and pipelines
  • Identify and convert new growth opportunities
  • Contribute to Proxima’s market positioning and thought leadership

Develop talent and culture

  • Mentor and develop senior consulting talent
  • Champion Proxima’s apprenticeship and feedback culture
  • Foster high-performance, inclusive teams

Shape the future of Proxima

  • Lead domain expertise, IP creation, and capability development
  • Act as a Proxima ambassador internally and externally
  • Influence strategic direction and firm-wide initiatives

Work in a global, flexible model

  • Operate in a hybrid environment, balancing client, home, and office-based work.
  • Travel as required to support client delivery and team collaboration.

What you bring

Executive experience

  • Extensive consulting and leadership experience
  • 10+ years of experience in in capital procurement, gained within a Client, Consulting or Supplier environment, ideally across more than one.
  • Proven ability to influence C-suite and senior stakeholders
  • Strong commercial, financial, and strategic acumen

Leadership presence

  • Executive gravitas and credibility
  • Ability to inspire confidence, challenge constructively, and drive change
  • Strong emotional intelligence and people leadership
