Our Commercial Insurance team are currently hiring for a Property Damage Solicitor to join the team.
The Commercial Insurance team work with a prestigious client base and handle a varied caseload of complex insurance property related disputes including, third party property damage (TPPD), product liability, policy coverage and subrogated recoveries.
Responsibilities
The role is hybrid, and we expect the successful individual to work 1x day per week from our London office.
- To manage your own caseload of property related claims.
- Understand client requirements and manage cases in line with service level agreements and best practice.
- Analyse risk and further develop sound judgement enabling the justification of decisions to clients internally and externally.
- Prioritise work effectively and maximise efficiency in working practices.
What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential;
- 1-4 years PQE within Property Damage or Property Litigations or Subrogated Recoveries
- Prior experience handling an insurance property related caseload, including experience in third party property damage, product liability, policy coverage and subrogated recoveries.
- Technical expertise and a strong interest in Commercial Insurance matters generally.
- A proven track record of delivering results within strict deadlines and timeframes.
Desirable;
- The ability to communicate and manage often complex issues for both internal and external stakeholder.
- A self-motivated individual who can also effectively coach and develop others within the team.
- Provide support and act as the 'go to person' for more junior members in the team.
