Project Manager - ERM & Procurement Systems Implementation

G MASS is hiring an experienced Project Manager for deployment into a London Market syndicate, to lead the delivery of two strategically important technology implementations: a new Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) platform and a Procurement and Contract Management platform. This is a client-facing engagement, with the consultant operating as part of the client's Project Delivery function while being resourced and supported by G MASS throughout the assignment.
About the Engagement
- Consultant is engaged and deployed by G MASS, working on-site/remote within the client's Project Delivery function for the duration of the assignment.
- The engagement supports a Lloyd's Managing Agency's technology change programme covering risk management and procurement/contract management capability.
- G MASS provides day-to-day placement support and acts as the primary point of contact for contractual and commercial matters throughout the engagement.
- The consultant will report into the client's Head of Project Management for day-to-day direction on the engagement.
Purpose of the role
Working within the client's Project Delivery function, the Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end project management of the implementation of a new Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) tool and a Procurement and Contracts tool, ensuring both are delivered into production in line with project governance, standards and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver the ERM tool into production, ensuring adherence to project governance and standards.
- Deliver the Procurement and Contracts tool into production, ensuring adherence to project governance and standards.
- Manage the coordination of tasks to support project delivery across vendors, internal technical teams and business resources.
- Maintain the Change Stakeholder register, ensuring deliverables remain aligned to business requirements and expectations.
- Provide oversight of stakeholder communication, leading the identification and formulation of feedback channels from stakeholders.
- Ensure Project RAID logs are updated and maintained in line with PMO standards, with mitigations in place for identified risks and issues.
- Complete Change Framework documentation as required, including submission of monthly progress reports on time.
- Demonstrable experience managing technology implementation projects within insurance, ideally within the Lloyd's or London Market.
- Proven track record delivering Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and/or Procurement/Contract Management platform implementations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience maintaining stakeholder registers and structured feedback channels.
- Solid grounding in project governance frameworks, including RAID log management and PMO reporting standards.
- Experience coordinating delivery across third-party vendors, internal technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including monthly reporting to senior stakeholders.
Length: initial contract until the end of January 2027
Salary: up to £90k, depending on experience
