GSOC Supervisor

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in law enforcement, intelligence or a military role or equivalent private sector experience.
• Experience in a security operations centre environment.
• Experience leading security operations.

Preferred qualifications:

• Deep knowledge and experience with security technologies including CCTV, Access Control, and Incident Management Systems.
• A strong understanding of global geopolitical trends and emerging threats and risks.
• Proven track record in security operations delivering high quality, customer-oriented security programs.
• High ethical standards with proven ability to manage highly confidential and sensitive information; excellent judgment, discretion and diplomacy.
• Strong investigative, communication, and team-work skills and ability to take initiative while building cross-functional relationships.

The Global Security Operations Center is GSRS’s 24/7 ecosystem for intake, triage, management and escalation of physical security incidents and threats.

The GSOC actively manages an incredibly broad and volatile threat landscape. This includes responding to Regional conflict, Tier 1 Events, navigating disruption from geopolitical instability and external actors like protest and direct action. Internally, our focus is hardening against insider risk, workplace violence and the rising cases of concerning behavior and complex needs among vulnerable Googlers.

The GSOC is committed to a future as an industry standard SOC organization, cementing our role as the central coordination function for all GSRS Operations. Responsibilities:

• Lead shift-level incident response and crisis management, triaging threats against the escalation and impact matrix.
• Direct live quality control for all shift deliverables, including report writing, verbal briefings, and incident standardization.
• Manage shift scheduling, ensure operational coverage, and deputize for GSOC Operations Managers.
• Identify training gaps, lead regional training initiatives, and advocate AI innovation to advance GSOC capabilities.
• Analyze, develop, and strengthen GSOC processes to support integration across the ecosystem.
