Customer Engineer, Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods and Travel
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Customer Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Developer Advocate) within the cloud computing industry.
- Experience in at least one of the following: Cloud Platforms (e.g., GCP), AI for retail industry usecases, Gemini or related AI Technologies.
Preferred qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in a Technical Sales Engineering Role.
- 2 years of experience in the Retail Industry.
- Proven ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the technical relationship with customers, including managing product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources.
- Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.
- Test and inspire customers and peers to solve difficult issues with ambitious and novel solutions leveraging a sophisticated set of technical competences.
- Recommend migration strategies, enterprise architectures, migration tools, and cloud infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices on Google Cloud.
