About the role:

As UK Estates Manager, you will play a key role in managing a diverse UK office portfolio, supporting the effective operation and optimisation of multiple sites. Working closely with the UK Estate Management Lead, you will oversee landlord and tenant relationships, manage lease-related activities, and support property requirements arising from business changes and projects. The role also provides oversight of external advisers and contractors, ensuring technical, service charge and brokerage services are delivered efficiently, accurately and in line with organisational standards. What your days will look like:

  • Manage landlord, tenant and stakeholder relationships across the UK estate, driving service excellence, issue resolution and effective portfolio management.
  • Oversee financial and lease management activities, including property costs, service charges, rent reviews, business rates, lease compliance and accurate property records.
  • Coordinate real estate projects, tenant applications and property transactions, working closely with internal teams and external advisers to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement by enhancing processes, managing third-party supplier performance and leveraging technology to improve data quality, reporting and operational efficiency.

This role is for you if:

  • Experience in property or estates management, with knowledge of landlord and tenant matters, lease events and property administration.
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience managing property costs, service charges and external advisers or suppliers.
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex property matters clearly to diverse audiences.
  • A proactive, continuous improvement mindset, with experience in complex or multi-site estates; a relevant professional qualification (e.g. RICS) is desirable but not essential.
