About the role:

• Investigative Support: Conduct thorough investigations into trading standards violations and consumer protection issues.

• Expert Advice: Provide specialist advice to colleagues and stakeholders on trading standards legislation and enforcement.
• Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and enforce compliance with trading standards regulations.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with team members, colleagues from other regulatory services, and external stakeholders to resolve cases and complete project work.
• Flexible Working: Be prepared to carry out duties at flexible times, including occasional evenings and weekends.
