The Role:

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our trading desk as a Trade Support Administrator. This role is central to ensuring trades are processed accurately, reported on time, and settled in line with regulatory requirements. You’ll act as a vital link between traders, middle office, back office, and external counterparties, helping to maintain the integrity and efficiency of our operations. Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Resolve unmatched CREST Market and Custodian trades.
  • Monitor the Dealing and Booking Error Tracking system.
  • Ensure timely submission of trades to UnaVista for Transaction Reporting.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of Transaction Reporting.
  • Correct and amend CREST rejections.
  • Reconcile Market and Internal accounts, as well as the Firm’s Stamp account.
  • Monitor trade processing via the Order Router.
  • Resolve contract discrepancies and failed orders.
  • Process trades not automatically contracted.
  • Input and validate foreign trades and FX trades.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of the CMA.
  • Handle booking queries from Investment Managers via phone or email.
  • Amend contracts as required.
  • Support ad hoc operational tasks as needed.
  • Advertise New Issues, IPOs, and Offers of Subscriptions to Investment Managers and process related orders.

Qualifications & Experience:

We welcome applications from individuals with:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
  • Previous experience in Wealth Management or financial services (advantageous but not essential).

Knowledge & Skills:

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Familiarity with Checking & Contracts entry processes (beneficial but not required).
  • Strong PC skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Flexibility in adapting to working hours and tasks.
