Role description:

At Arcadis, we're helping clients deliver some of the UK's most complex infrastructure and capital investment programmes. We're looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to play a pivotal role in driving supply chain excellence across major construction and infrastructure projects.

This is an opportunity to influence supplier strategy, strengthen key relationships, and help deliver sustainable, high-performing supply chains that support successful project outcomes. Based within a major aviation programme environment, you'll work alongside commercial, procurement, and project delivery teams to ensure suppliers consistently meet expectations for safety, quality, programme, cost, and sustainability.

Role accountabilities:

  • Supporting the development and delivery of supply chain strategies across major capital programmes.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with strategic suppliers and identifying opportunities to strengthen market engagement.
  • Managing Supplier Performance & Relationship Management (SPRM) activities, tracking supplier performance against key KPIs and supporting continuous improvement.
  • Monitoring supplier risks, due diligence activities and business continuity planning.
  • Supporting supplier reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and performance reporting.
  • Conducting market analysis and supply chain engagement activities to identify capable delivery partners.
  • Maintaining supplier segmentation frameworks, governance processes, and reporting tools.
  • Driving improvements that enhance supplier performance, compliance, innovation and value.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Significant experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Commercial Management within major infrastructure or construction programmes.
  • Experience managing supplier performance, supplier relationships, and supplier risk.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across diverse teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience analysing and presenting complex data in a clear and accessible way.
  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline or holding an equivalent professional qualification.
  • MCIPS, MRICS, or similar professional accreditation desirable.
  • Experience working within large-scale capital projects and operational environments would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of contract management and supplier management systems such as Power BI, CEMAR, or similar tools.
