About You:
You are a motivated and adaptable professional with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for using technology to solve real-world problems. You enjoy working in collaborative, agile teams and take pride in delivering high-quality solutions that make a tangible impact. With strong communication skills and a consultative approach, you’re comfortable engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and translating them into effective outcomes.
The Role:
As a Service Transition Manager, you will play a key role in moving services from delivery into live support, helping create a smooth handover into business-as-usual operation. This role is focused on service readiness, governance, and collaboration across multiple stakeholders, ensuring that operational expectations are clear and that transitions are well managed from end to end.
Responsibilities
- Transition a service from development into live support and BAU, following an Acceptance into service process defined by the client.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across delivery, support, and operations to enable successful service transition.
- Work with stakeholders within client-defined governance throughout the transition process.
- Partner with Service Owners to support service readiness and operational handover.
- 5+ years of industry experience in delivery management and service management roles.
- Experience managing service transition from development into live support environments.
- Knowledge of acceptance into service processes and service readiness criteria.
- Knowledge of IT service management practices, including incident, change, and release management, along with a solid understanding of ITIL.
- Experience communicating with stakeholders, working to client-defined governance, and coordinating cross-functional teams across delivery, support, and operations.
- Experience working with Service Owners.
- Experience with ServiceNow.
- Experience with JIRA.
