Engineer - Network
The Engineer – Network is responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of network infrastructure. This position will be involved in all aspects of networking from planning to installation and support.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, configuring, installing and troubleshooting LAN/WAN networks;
- Implements security measures such as firewalls or access control systems;
- Monitors performance levels on a daily basis using specialised software tools;
- Ensures that data integrity standards are met at all times by implementing backup procedures regularly;
- Provides technical assistance to users with any issues related to their computer hardware or software applications over the phone or via email;
- Researches new technologies which could improve existing services offered by the company’s IT department.
