Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow and platform APIs.
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and internal or third-party systems.
- Work with product team to translate business requirements into technical designs, balancing usability, maintainability and platform limits.
- Apply Salesforce security best practices, including sharing, permissions and Lightning Web Security.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and identify their root causes.
- Improve deployment pipelines, release practices and monitoring.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with architects, administrators, product owners and other stakeholders.
- Adhere to all Information Security Policies
- Completing other duties as directed
- The nature of the role requires some work outside of normal business hours including weekends, evenings, and public holidays
Requirements
Key Skills and Competency Requirements:
· Salesforce Certifications (e.g. Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II)
· Familiar with the declarative development tools of Salesforce, such as Validation Rules, Process Builders and Flows
· Familiar with the coding development tools of Salesforce, such as Apex, Aura and LWC
· Experience of working with Salesforce Integrations – including Salesforce’s own tool set and working with other platforms and their developers in enabling integrations to Salesforce
· Financial Services Experience
· Excellent organisational, written, and verbal communication, and time-management skills
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience:
· 5+ years of Salesforce experience
· Experience with Salesforce integrations, ideally in Financial Services
- Experience using JIRA
· Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD and Test Automation
