Job Title: Edit Producer, Women’s World Cup 2027

Department: Football Department

Overview of Job

An exciting opportunity to oversee our content edit department (English) for the Netflix Production of the Women’s World Cup 2027.

Working with the Executive & Co-ordinating Producers this role will deliver non-live edited content as well as features for the live match presentation programming.

This role will require close working and alignment with the Archive & music clearance producers, as well as Spanish and French language edit producers.

Reports To: Head of Football, Executive Producer, Snr Production Manager

Direct Reports: All freelance hires

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week on average. During event times hours may vary.

Contract Type / Length: Fixed Term/ 7 months,

Location: Stockley Park, Uxbridge with additional internation travel possibly required.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Coordination and oversight of all edit production from Stockley Park.
• Work with the senior editorial team to develop editorial output, demonstrating editorial judgment and creative flair
• Work with the production management to build staffing models, schedules and budgets for deliverables.
• Overall responsibility for freelance bookings and schedule for Editors, APs, Producers and GFX designers, considering other IMG Productions where overlap may impact either production.
• Manage relationship with wider Netflix production team.
• Co-ordinate on all key deliverables.
• Work closely with the Archive Producer and Music Clearance Producers to ensure all requests are timely, delivered and reported.
• Work with production management team to establish PAP (Programme as Produced) paperwork workflows.
• Work with the IMG Studios Media Management team to establish workflows and maintain best practice for content ingest in to edits and delivery to Live TX teams / Netflix.
• Work with the IMG Studios Media Management team to ensure best practice regarding media management storage and deletions as required.
• Maintain a frequent regular meeting cadence with other departments as required.
• Work closely with third party agencies also delivering on the Netflix project.
• Ability to build and maintain good working relationships with key departmental personnel.
• Effective Support for the Production Team.
• Delivery of quality and consistent features/programming on time and on budget, in accordance with client requirements.
• Responding to feedback from Head of Football, Executive Producer, clients and broadcaster.

Knowledge and Experience

Mandatory

• Considerable experience as a Edit Producer in live and non-football production environments.
• Specialist knowledge of Women’s Football.
• Understanding of production budgets and scheduling.
• Experience of managing freelancers.
• Experience of dealing with key stakeholders.

Desirable

§ Experience of scheduling tools.

§ Understanding of Remote Production Workflows.

§ Experience of managing multiple edits simultaneously.

§ Experience of delivering multiple deliverables simultaneously.

Working Conditions

This role is based at IMG Offices, Stockley Park

This is a Fixed-Term contract for 7 months.

You will be required to work across all live output for Netflix’s coverage of the Women’s World Cup 2027 – this may require overnight work, travel to US / Brazil.
