We are seeking an exceptional general practitioner with a strong commitment to medical education to provide academic leadership for the primary care curriculum and its quality assurance across the MBBS programme.
Working alongside the Co-Leads for Primary Care Education, you will lead the development, delivery, review and enhancement of taught primary care education, including seminars, tutorials, case-based learning, student-selected components and digital learning resources. You will help ensure that primary care teaching is coherent, inclusive and appropriately aligned with programme outcomes, GMC requirements and the Medical Licensing Assessment.
You will also play a central role in assuring and improving the quality of primary care teaching and placements. This will include using student feedback and other quality data to inform improvement; supporting GP tutors and placement practices; contributing to tutor development; and the primary care contribution to programme evaluation and GMC quality-monitoring processes.

To be successful in your application you will be:
- Qualified general practitioner, on the performers list, currently engaged in clinical work as a salaried GP or partner.
- Significant experience in teaching and designing educational programmes.
- Track record of innovation and scholarship in medical education and an educational qualification.
- Passion for high quality student education.
- Strong organisational, time-management, project management
