Senior Influencer Manager: Role Description

Your Role

As a Senior Influencer Manager at Fabric, you take our influencer offering to the next level. You own influencer strategy across multiple clients and pitches, lead the thinking that connects creators to brand platforms, and spot rising talent before they break.

You combine data-driven insight with cultural instinct, manage and mentor the Influencer Managers, and hold the senior client and agent relationships that unlock the best opportunities. You own delivery end to end and make sure every activation ladders back to real business objectives.

You have the autonomy to lead the discipline alongside the other Senior Influencer Managers and the support of the Strategy Director to keep growing the department.

What You Do

Strategic Planning and Leadership: You work with the Strategy Director to lead influencer strategy for pitches and live campaigns, making sure activations are deeply connected to brand platforms and business goals. You advise clients and internal teams on emerging trends, platforms and cultural shifts as a go-to expert, help evolve our influencer product, processes and measurement, and support SOW scoping to stay profitable and efficient.

Talent Sourcing, Vetting and Contracting: You oversee talent discovery and recommendation, building best-fit rosters across celebrity, macro, micro and UGC creators. You approve vetting decisions on demographics, brand safety and content quality, negotiate complex contracts and fees directly with agents or talent, and support the Influencer Managers on drafting and reviewing contracts. You maintain and grow senior agent and talent relationships to unlock premium opportunities.

Campaign Oversight and Client Leadership: You own end-to-end delivery, keeping timelines, creative quality, usage rights and approvals tightly managed. You act as senior client contact for influencer workstreams, handling escalations and influencing client roadmaps, and present strategies, PCAs and insights to senior stakeholders with confidence. You partner with internal teams and IATs to amplify content across channels. Alongside one-off campaigns, you run long-term creator programmes, including always-on and ambassador work, and keep them fresh over months, not weeks.

Performance and ROI: You set KPIs and measurement approaches, analyse performance to evaluate ROI, and turn the data into actionable insight for optimisation and future planning. You share learnings across the agency to keep raising the bar.

Team Development and Process: You line-manage and mentor the Influencer Managers, refine our influencer processes for consistency and operational excellence, and champion a culture where creators are treated as true creative partners.

What Good Looks Like

  • You know the creator world inside out: who’s rising, who’s peaked, what agents will and won’t agree to, and where the platforms are heading.
  • You build influencer strategy that ladders to brand platforms and business goals, and you can defend it in a pitch room.
  • You’re comfortable negotiating complex fees, usage and exclusivity issues.
  • You hold senior client and agent relationships, and you’re the person clients call when something goes wrong.
  • You set the KPIs up front and prove ROI afterwards, turning results into insight the wider agency can use.
  • You treat creators as creative partners and brief them that way.
  • You line-manage and develop the Influencer Managers, and you raise the standard of the whole discipline alongside the other Senior Influencer Managers.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 5+ years in influencer marketing, talent management or creator relations, agency-side or in-house.
  • Proven Leadership: A track record of leading influencer strategy and line-managing a team.
  • Networked: Strong existing relationships with talent agents, managers and creators.
  • Strategic & Commercial: Ability to connect influencer activity to wider brand strategy, client goals and commercial outcomes.
  • Data-Literate & Culturally Tuned-In: Comfortable with analytics tools and reporting, but equally driven by instinct for rising talent, platform shifts and cultural trends.
  • Negotiator & Communicator: Confident in high-level negotiations, contracts and presenting to senior clients.
  • Portfolio Owner: Comfortable running several client programmes at once and setting priorities for the team, as well as for your own work.
