Who We Are

FTI Consulting is the leading global expert firm for organizations facing crisis and transformation. We work with many of the world’s top multinational corporations, law firms, banks and private equity firms on their most important issues to deliver impact that makes a difference. From resolving disputes, navigating crises, managing risk and optimizing performance, our teams respond rapidly to dynamic and complex situations.

At FTI Consulting, you’ll work side-by side with leaders who have shaped history, helping solve the biggest challenges making headlines today. From day one, you’ll be an integral part of a focused team where you can make a real impact. You’ll be surrounded by an open, collaborative culture that embraces diversity, recognition, professional development and, most importantly, you.

Are you ready to make your impact?

About the Role

FTI Consulting’s EMEA Private Equity team is growing, and we are looking for exceptional Senior Consultants who can operate at the intersection of operations, technology, and value creation. You will work directly with leading Private Equity funds and portfolio company leadership to assess performance, identify upside, and deliver change at pace.

This is a hands‑on, high‑visibility role for individuals who thrive in fast‑moving deal environments and enjoy solving complex operational and technology challenges under pressure.

What You’ll Do

Technology Due Diligence:

  • Evaluating architecture, infrastructure, product roadmap, cybersecurity posture, and technical debt.
  • Identifying scalability constraints, single points of failure, and hidden cost drivers.
  • Quantifying required investment (capex/opex) to support the growth plan.

Value Creation & Tech Modernisation:

  • Identifying automation, cloud migration, and platform consolidation opportunities.
  • Building investment cases for modernisation and cost optimisation.
  • Assessing whether the tech team and processes can deliver the roadmap.

Sign‑to‑Close:

  • Defining IT TSAs and separation requirements.
  • Building Day 1 readiness plans for infrastructure, access, data, and security.

Post‑Deal Integration / Separation:

  • Leading carve‑out IT builds, system migrations, or integration of platforms.
  • Working directly with CTOs, CIOs, and engineering leads to deliver change.

How You’ll Grow

We are committed to investing and supporting you in your professional development and we have developed a range of programs focused on fostering leadership, growth and development opportunities. We aim to promote continuous learning and individual skills development through on-the-job learning, self-guided professional development courses and certifications. You’ll be assigned a dedicated coach to mentor, guide and support you through regular coaching sessions and serve as an advocate for your professional growth.

As you progress through your career at FTI Consulting, we offer tailored programs for critical professional milestones to ensure you are prepared and empowered to take on your next role.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Comfortable working with limited data, tight timelines, and ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to translate technical and operational issues into clear commercial insights.
  • A hands‑on mindset - willing to dig into data, processes, systems, and operations directly.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in technology consulting, IT due diligence, software engineering, product management, or IT transformation.
  • Familiarity with modern tech stacks, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and product roadmaps.
  • Experience working with or advising PE‑backed businesses.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting technology due diligence or post‑deal tech integration/separation is strongly preferred.
