Senior Analyst (London)

The Role:
FGE NexantECA is seeking Senior Analysts for opportunities based in London, UK. The ideal candidate(s) will have 3-5 years of relevant industry and/or consulting experience in chemicals, low carbon molecules, energy or associated infrastructure.
The role will cover consulting activities addressing technology, economics, industry and market analysis across a broad range of chemicals, low carbon molecules, energy and associated infrastructure sectors.
RequirementsEducation & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Materials Science.
- 3-5 years' previous industry analysis/consulting, research or process industry experience.
- Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft spread sheets, word processing and presentation applications.
- Proficient in the use of databases.
- Excellent presentation and report writing skills.
- Excellent mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Personal Qualities & Knowledge;
- Capable of developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Positive and flexible attitude to work, particularly on new initiatives.
- Diplomatic in meeting and working with people, good cultural awareness.
- Understanding and commitment to equal opportunities.
- Willingness to travel globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the delivery of consulting engagements and to exceed client's expectations, through research, analysis and report writing.
- Conduct primary research to understand key industry issues and develop market balances and projections.
- Manage research and analysis of industry data using spreadsheets.
- Conduct research on process technology trends and develop economic models of capital and operating costs of industrial plants.
- Meet internal quality, time, and budget constraints.
- Work closely with clients, prepare and deliver presentations, and assist in building strong client relationships.
- Develop and broaden personal knowledge and capabilities.
- Assist and support team members in all aspects of engagement delivery.
