SEND Teaching Assistant – Croydon
Working hours: 8:30am–4:15pm
Transparency Education is seeking a patient, enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school for children and young people aged 2–19 with autism and complex learning needs. Pupils may have significant or severe learning difficulties alongside differences in communication, social interaction, sensory processing and emotional regulation.
The school provides a personalised curriculum focused on developing communication, independence and everyday life skills. You will work closely with teachers to support pupils’ learning, help them manage their emotions and sensory needs, and encourage positive engagement in school life. A calm, consistent approach and the ability to build trusting relationships are essential. Personal Care is essential in this role.
