Pay: £13.72 an hour

Hours: 42 hours / 12 hours shifts / Days and Nights rotation

Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Work at a nationally recognised energy and gas distribution facility within a professional and highly regulated environment.
• Carry out a variety of security duties including gatehouse operations, access control, visitor management, patrols, and incident response.
• Play a key role in maintaining site safety, security, and compliance across a critical infrastructure location.
• Build valuable experience in a high-risk industrial setting with strong operational standards and emergency preparedness procedures.
• Engage with employees, contractors, and visitors, delivering excellent customer service while maintaining security protocols.
• Benefit from a supportive management team, ongoing training opportunities, and a stable long-term assignment with a respected client.
• Use your strong communication, report-writing, and IT skills to accurately manage incidents and site security systems.
• Join a professional team where reliability, integrity, health and safety awareness, and the ability to work independently are highly valued.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence.
• Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and report-writing skills.
• Good IT literacy and confidence using security management systems.
• Flexible approach to shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to pass required screening and vetting processes.
• Experience in gatehouse operations, access control, patrols, or emergency response is desirable.
