Job Description
Purpose of the role
To develop and implement structured financial products and solutions to meet the needs of clients and optimize the bank's market exposure and profitability.
Accountabilities
- Development of innovative structured financial products and solutions to address the specific needs of clients, including derivatives, structured notes, and other structured investment products.
- Risk analysis and management associated with structured products, including market risk, credit risk, and operational risk, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and bank policies.
- Assessment of pricing and valuation of structured products, including the use of mathematical models and financial instruments, and liaising with trading to ensure competitive pricing.
- Collaboration with traders, risk managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective product implementation and risk mitigation.

As a Securitised Products Analyst for the Corporate & Sustainability Team, you will support the origination, execution, analysis and monitoring of a range of structured finance products across Energy & Infrastructure ABS (including in renewables and digital infrastructure), as well as other corporate and consumer backed securitised asset classes. Working closely with financing, risk, sales & syndicate teams, you will create client pitches, assess opportunities, analyse cash flows and performance data, monitor market trends, and contribute to portfolio management and risk reporting. This role offers excellent exposure to global financial markets, structured credit products, and senior stakeholders, providing a strong platform for professional growth within a specialist and highly collaborative environment.
To be successful as a Securitised Products Analyst you should have:
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Understanding of fixed income markets, credit analysis, and structured finance fundamentals.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets and financial models.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
Other skills of value include:
- Experience within securitised products, structured finance, infrastructure / project finance, credit research, asset management, or capital markets.
- Knowledge of ABS/RMBS/CMBS, infrastructure / project finance lending or other structured credit instruments.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, Intex, or similar market data platforms.
- Professional qualifications or studies towards CFA, FRM, ACA, or equivalent.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
The position is based in our London Office.
This role is deemed as a Certified role under the PRA & UK Financial Conduct Authority - Individual Accountabilities Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks
