About the Role

Digital Energy Software, within the Sustainability & Software (S&S) Division, is on an ambitious growth trajectory, targeting more than €1B in revenue by 2030. To support this growth, we are driving multiple strategic transformations to strengthen our position as a leading software player in the energy management industry.

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the development and execution of a strategic Software Ecosystem Enablement Program, designed to accelerate adoption of our platforms by system integrators, developers, customers, and operators worldwide.

This role is highly cross-functional and global in nature, requiring strong leadership, stakeholder management, and program execution skills. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Business Leaders, and external partners to deliver a unified ecosystem experience that enables users to discover, build, learn, connect, and grow on our software platforms.

The Software Ecosystem Transformation Program focuses on building a comprehensive enablement environment that includes:

Software Marketplace

A centralized marketplace where customers and system integrators can:

  • Discover certified applications and integrations
  • Get access to software solutions and extensions
  • Deploy ecosystem offerings seamlessly on our platforms

Developer & Technical Enablement Hub

A comprehensive technical portal providing:

  • APIs and SDKs
  • Developer documentation
  • Reference architectures
  • Sandbox environments
  • Integration guidelines and tools

Learning & Certification Platform

A scalable training environment offering:

  • Structured learning paths
  • Technical certifications
  • Hands-on training experiences
  • Role-based curricula for integrators, developers, and operators

Community Platform

A vibrant peer-to-peer ecosystem enabling:

  • Knowledge sharing
  • Technical discussions
  • Best-practice exchange
  • Problem-solving among partners, developers, and operators

Additional Ecosystem Services

Support the exploration and implementation of additional capabilities that strengthen ecosystem adoption and partner engagement.

Key Responsibilities

As Program Manager, you will be accountable for ensuring successful delivery and adoption of the Software Ecosystem program.

Program Leadership & Execution

  • Partner closely with the Ecosystem Product Leader to execute the roadmap in alignment with business strategy and priorities.
  • Drive program execution across multiple teams and stakeholders while maintaining focus on business outcomes.
  • Build and maintain program plans, milestones, dependencies, and governance mechanisms.
  • Support the League Leader in establishing and managing program budgets aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Ensure successful delivery of commitments while balancing scope, schedule, quality, and value realization.

Stakeholder Management

  • Engage and align business, product, engineering, and external stakeholders around the program vision.
  • Facilitate decision-making and ensure stakeholder participation in key program events and governance forums.
  • Build strong relationships across a global organization to drive collaboration and execution.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and achievements to leadership and stakeholders at all levels.

Dependency & Risk Management

  • Identify, manage, and track cross-team dependencies and critical path activities.
  • Proactively escalate impediments and facilitate resolution of complex issues.
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks that may impact delivery, quality, or adoption.
  • Provide recommendations regarding resource allocation and prioritization to address bottlenecks.

Agile Program Management

  • Maintain visibility over key milestones, deliveries, dependencies, and strategic initiatives beyond individual iterations and Program Increments.
  • Track program performance using relevant metrics and reporting mechanisms.
  • Support and facilitate PI Planning and other Agile Release Train (ART) ceremonies when applicable.
  • Ensure teams are positioned to meet internal and external commitments.

Continuous Improvement & Coaching

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through Inspect & Adapt practices.
  • Coach teams and leaders on Agile principles, collaboration models, and delivery excellence.
  • Promote transparency, accountability, and servant leadership across the program.
  • Drive improvements in governance, planning, execution, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications & Experience

Required Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, or Transformation leadership roles.
  • Proven track record leading large-scale, complex software or digital transformation programs.
  • Experience managing global and cross-functional teams across multiple geographies.
  • Strong experience working in Agile environments and scaling Agile practices across organizations.
  • Experience leading projects involving software platforms, developer ecosystems, marketplaces, or digital enablement solutions.
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally when required.

  • Expert in managing complex programs with multiple workstreams.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build consensus.
  • Advanced negotiation skills to balance engineering constraints and business priorities.

Agile Expertise

  • Deep understanding of Agile principles and frameworks.
  • Experience facilitating PI Planning, ART events, and large-scale Agile ceremonies.
  • Knowledge of SAFe or equivalent Agile scaling frameworks is highly desirable.
  • Ability to coach teams and leaders on Agile best practices.

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

  • Proactive and data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Experience in identifying and resolving systemic delivery or organizational challenges.
  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Facilitation & Coaching

  • Skilled facilitator for workshops and large-scale meetings.
  • Conflict resolution and stakeholder alignment expertise.
  • Servant leadership mindset.
  • Ability to coach teams and leaders toward higher performance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), Release Train Engineer (RTE), PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in software ecosystems, developer platforms, SaaS businesses, or partner enablement programs.
  • Experience working with system integrators and technology partners.
  • Knowledge of the Energy Management, Digital Energy, or Industrial Software industries is an advantage.
