Project Delivery Manager (Building Safety Remediation)

The Guinness Partnership exists to provide great homes for our residents across the country. Our Building Safety Remediation team is responsible for delivering improvements that enhance the safety and resilience of our buildings.
We have a new opportunity for an experienced Project Delivery Manager to join the team. This is a full time, permanent role, based in our central London office. Your time will be split between on-site visits, office-based work, and some home working.
You will lead the delivery of a varied portfolio of building safety remediation projects, managing multiple stakeholders, budgets and contractor partners to ensure projects are delivered safely, compliantly and achieve excellent outcomes for residents.
What we are looking for
We know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. That is why we are seeking someone with proven experience delivering building safety remediation projects, with a particular focus on cladding remediation. Ideally, you will have worked on high-rise residential buildings and have a strong understanding of the associated regulatory, technical and resident engagement challenges. You will also be a confident collaborator, able to build positive working relationships with colleagues, contractors and residents.
Essential skills & experience:
- A track record of successfully delivering building safety remediation including cladding. Experience with major works, capital investment or regeneration projects within housing, construction or the public sector.
- Commercial acumen and experience of managing all commercial aspects of multiple projects.
- Experience of contract management with external and internal contractor organisations delivering multi discipline projects to achieve value for money and quality.
- Proven experience of providing excellent customer service.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Good knowledge of building construction and repair techniques and building safety to current legislation and regulations.
- Experience of effective budget management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Extensive building/fire safety, retrofit and renewal/regeneration component replacement knowledge.
- Knowledge and understanding of the activities of a social landlord.
Essential qualifications:
- Educated to Level 5 (HND) or higher in Building, Construction, surveying, or equivalent.
