AISHA - AI for Self-Healing Assets
About OctaiPipe
OctaiPipe is a young, ambitious company with the vision to develop the next generation of foundational, physical AI that ensures our connected world, and its critical infrastructure, is safe, secure and sustainable. We are growing fast, having closed a recent funding round and looking to accelerate rapidly. OctaiPipe is offering the right candidate an exciting role on this adventure!
OctaiPipe’s
near term is to mission to revolutionise the optimisation of energy in data centres through decentralised artificial intelligence for closed loop control and orchestration (AI). To do this, OctaiPipe is harnessing an elegant but revolutionary idea. Rather than move the data from the source, move the algorithms to the data to learn at the data source. This learning can be achieved with the intelligence of many devices through novel federated AI technology. OctaiPipe is developing the AI for Cooling Efficiency (ACE) application to be deployed using its own in-house distributed AI platform.
The Role
We're looking for a Product Manager to lead AISHA (AI for Self-Healing Assets), a brand-new product that extends OctaiPipe’s
data centre optimisation offering from cooling-energy optimisation (served by our existing ACE product) into equipment health and asset lifecycle management optimisation. This is the first step towards a foundational AI that can holistically manage the data centre. You will work closely with the VP of Product to define what we build, why we build it, and how AISHA fits alongside ACE.
This is a rare opportunity to own a product from the ground up at a company building at the frontier of physical AI — shaping AISHA from early design and prototypes, through validation with design partners, to a productised, vendor-agnostic offering. The product you shape will directly determine whether operators of critical infrastructure can trust AI to help them balance reliability and asset uptime against the long-term value of their equipment.
What You'll Work On
Near term: From prototype to validated product
You will take AISHA from its current design brief and early interface prototypes to a validated, demonstrable product. Working hands-on with design partners and leading PdM, BMS and CMMS vendors, as well as the existing ACE team, you will prove the additive value of fusing condition monitoring with ACE's operational intelligence
Long term: The intelligence layer for condition-based maintenance
Over time, AISHA will grow beyond its first integrations to work alongside a wider range of maintenance and monitoring systems, helping operators make better decisions across energy, reliability and asset lifecycle.
You will help shape that vision and ensure near-term decisions are made with the longer arc in mind, positioning OctaiPipe as an essential integration and intelligence point for the maintenance market rather than a passive data pipe.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the AISHA product vision and roadmap. Maintain a clear, prioritised roadmap that connects near-term design-partner validation to the longer-term vision of a vendor-agnostic maintenance intelligence layer.
- Lead discovery and validation with design partners. Run structured discovery with demanding technical customers and PdM vendors, define success criteria and KPIs, and translate what you learn into clear product requirements.
- Define the core intelligence workflows. Own the core product experience and workflows, ensuring the insights and recommendations AISHA surfaces are clear, dependable and genuinely useful to operators.
- Take prototypes to product. Drive a front-end-first approach that firms up requirements quickly, then build in the back-end realism needed for compelling demonstrations and real deployments, working closely with design and engineering.
- Own third-party integrations. Define and prioritise integrations with third party systems, including BMS, DCIM, CMMS, PdM and CBM systems, shaping a canonical data model and connector strategy so that any vendor's output can flow into OctaiPipe’s AISHA and ACE products.
- Drive agile development process execution. Lead roadmap prioritisation, sprint planning and agile ceremonies; collaborate with R&D on backlog management, acceptance criteria and product requirements.
- Contribute to product and platform strategy. Shape how AISHA fits alongside ACE and the wider OctaiPipe platform, thinking ahead to partner-facing and broader-market opportunities.
About You
Required
- A proven track record as a Product Manager or Product Owner within an agile software development team, including new product development — taking products from concept through to launch.
- Experience delivering physical AI applications — AI/ML products that sense, reason about, or act on the physical world.
- Domain experience in one or more of: data centre operations, condition monitoring, or predictive/preventive maintenance.
- Experience working with critical physical infrastructure or operational technology (OT) environments, with a genuine appreciation of the reliability, safety and security constraints they demand.
- Working knowledge of relevant hardware and software systems — for example sensors and gateways, BMS/DCIM, PdM/CBM platforms, CMMS, and the integration standards that connect them.
- Comfort working closely with engineers and data scientists — you don't need to write code, but you need to understand technical constraints and trade-offs at a working level.
- Strong customer-facing instincts and a discovery mindset — able to run validation with demanding technical customers and translate findings into clear product requirements.
- A clear written and verbal communicator, comfortable working across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with reliability engineering and asset management concepts — condition-based maintenance, remaining-useful-life (RUL) and prognostics, failure modes, and lifetime-cost or NPV optimisation.
- Exposure to digital twins or simulation.
- Familiarity with industrial data and integration standards (e.g. OPC UA, MQTT, BMS protocols, REST APIs).
- Comfortable working with Python and SQL for data analytics and visualisation.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
