Key Responsibilities

  • Support managers through organisational and team changes, advising on people implications and ensuring alignment with established frameworks and processes.
  • Support the delivery and application of workforce planning initiatives, including organisational design, job levelling, succession planning, and career pathways.
  • Develop management capability through coaching, guidance, and proactive partnership.

Employee Relations

  • Manage employee relations cases end-to-end, escalating complex or high-risk matters to the People & Culture Senior Manager or Director as appropriate.
  • Advise managers on employee relations matters, balancing legal and commercial considerations with company culture and values.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee relations records, documentation, and case files.
  • Partner with and guide hiring managers through the recruitment process for entry-level through to management positions.
  • Support the Talent Operations Associate in delivering end-to-end recruitment processes across the business.
  • Continuously improve recruitment processes to drive positive business outcomes and deliver an excellent candidate experience.
  • Support the implementation and optimisation of the recruitment target operating model (TOM).

Talent Enablement

  • Support the effective adoption and utilisation of people systems and frameworks, including Culture Amp and Pinpoint.
  • Assist with the delivery of performance management cycles, including probation reviews and annual performance reviews.
  • Support managers in developing high-performing teams through the CTG and BTG frameworks.
  • Produce regular employee relations and recruitment management information (MI) reports for the Senior Manager and Director.
  • Analyse trends, identify risks, and proactively highlight areas requiring attention or intervention.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Solid experience in a People & Culture or HR generalist role covering business partnering, employee relations, and recruitment, ideally within a fast-paced fintech or financial services environment.
  • Demonstrable experience managing employee relations cases from initiation through to resolution.
  • Recruitment delivery experience, including managing end-to-end hiring processes across a variety of roles.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build credibility and influence managers at all levels.
  • Sound knowledge of employment law and its practical application within a commercial environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing demands.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in relation to case management, documentation, and reporting.
  • A collaborative team player with a strong work ethic, growth mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement.
