Multi-Trade Operative – Plasterer / Wet Trades / Groundworker / Part P Plumber / Carpenter / Floor Fitter
Based in Hackney – working across London
£40,248 - £42,367 per year
40 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 16:30pm
We're looking for several skilled Multi-Trade Operatives to join our growing team, covering various locations across London. We have opportunities available for experienced tradespeople with a primary skill in Plastering, Wet Trades, Groundworks, Part P Plumbing, Carpentry or Floor Fitting. The role of Multi-Trade Operative - Plasterer / Wet Trades / Groundworker / Part P Plumber / Carpenter / Floor Fitter will include:
- Attending occupied properties to carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties
- Resolving problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed
- Providing accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer and ensure accurate daily work records are completed
- Resolving problems or setting into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed in line with agreed processes and within contract and service specifications
- Maintaining a suitable van stock level and restocking these when needed
- Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer
Skills and experiences:
- To ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (carpentry, If Plumbing Level 3 is required, Unvented - G3 Certificate and Water Regulations (WRAS). As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted
- Working experience of analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
- Skills in the following disciplines - Carpenter/Plumber/Drainage Engineer
- PC literate and able to use and update computerised systems (including PDA) for work scheduling
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
