Marketing Manager - Impact Campaigns
Movember
Men are dying too young – and it doesn’t have to be that way.
Around the world, men are facing a health crisis: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and suicide. At Movember we’re on a mission to change the face of men’s health by making it easier for men to talk, act and live longer healthier lives.
Every project, every campaign, every idea adds up to real change. You’ll be part of a purpose-fueled crew who believe making an impact and having fun should go hand in hand. Your mission is calling.
DO GOOD. Work for Movember.
Your Mo-Mission (should you choose to accept it):
Help turn health information into campaigns that inspire action and improve men’s lives.
As Marketing Manager, Impact Campaigns, you’ll lead the development and delivery of behaviour change and health promotion campaigns across the UK. You’ll translate Movember’s impact strategy into clear, accessible and compelling marketing that reaches the public, health professionals and government.
This is an opportunity to use your marketing expertise for more than awareness. Your work will help people better understand their health, take action earlier and support Movember’s mission to stop men dying too young.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and deliver integrated, multi-channel marketing plans for Movember’s priority health and impact initiatives in the UK.
- Translate complex and sensitive health information into accessible campaigns that meet the needs of different audiences.
- Create year-round plans that map campaign sequencing, audience journeys, channel activity, resources and key milestones.
- Lead campaigns from planning through to launch and evaluation, coordinating content, creative, media, social and other delivery requirements.
- Use behaviour change principles, audience research and performance data to shape campaign strategy and improve effectiveness.
- Brief and manage internal teams, external agencies and delivery partners, including the implementation of paid media activity.
- Establish campaign objectives and measures, monitor performance and take action when results or delivery milestones are at risk.
- Ensure local campaigns align with Movember’s wider UK marketing activity and contribute to its global impact strategy.
- Support co-branded campaigns connected to Movember’s impact initiatives, helping maintain a clear and consistent narrative.
- Manage campaign budgets, track expenditure and provide regular reporting against performance measures and delivery milestones.
No Moustache Required - but the following are:
- Direct experience developing and delivering health literacy campaigns. You’ll need to demonstrate how you have translated complex or sensitive health information into clear, accessible communications for specific audiences. This is essential for the role.
- At least five years’ experience delivering integrated marketing and communications campaigns from initial planning through to launch, optimisation and evaluation.
- Experience applying behaviour change principles or techniques to campaign design, with examples of campaigns intended to influence what an audience understands, believes or does.
- A tertiary qualification in marketing, or a related qualification with a marketing major.
- Experience developing campaign strategies across a mix of channels such as content, creative, paid media, social media and partnerships.
- Experience using audience research, insights and performance data to inform campaign design, channel selection and optimisation.
- Proven experience managing several campaigns or workstreams concurrently, including timelines, approvals, risks, dependencies and delivery milestones.
- Experience briefing and managing external agencies or specialist delivery partners across areas such as media, creative, behaviour change or research.
- Hands-on experience setting and managing campaign budgets, tracking expenditure and reporting against agreed objectives and performance measures.
Not Mission Critical - but for extra bonus points:
- Experience working within a global organisation or matrix structure, where campaigns require coordination across regional and global teams.
Good Cause:
Working for Movember, you’ll help turn ideas (and moustaches) into millions for men’s health. Every bit we raise changes the face of men’s health by funding research, improving treatments, and supporting programs that help save lives.
We’re even shaping government policies on men’s health worldwide. By meeting directly with lawmakers, and helping them understand how more investment on men’s health benefits not just men, but all the communities they serve.
Good Vibes:
We love weekends. That’s why our Fridays finish early for nine months of the year. But we also love our office vibe. Because here, it always feels like something big is about to happen. Be it an office-wide surprise birthday party (with cake!) or an open invite for all to hit the pub.
Come the hairy season, the energy cranks up. We’re talking celebrity visits. Live stunts on-site for TV and radio. And when we hit a fundraising milestone, the office gong might even go off. But, for those who prefer calm, no probs: hybrid working means you work where you feel best.
Good Crew:
Spoiler alert: we’re a no-ego, all-impact crew. That means everyone gets a say, from new starters to those leading the charge. Collaboration over hierarchies, curiosity over rigid process. And it’s true across all our offices worldwide. We work as one, sharing expertise and celebrating wins. All in the name of making the biggest impact across the globe. United, we Mo.
We offer:
- Hybrid/Flexible working – we offer our team a split of home and office working
- 13 weeks paid Parental Leave and 6 weeks annual leave
- Health Cash Plan – to support the costs of everyday healthcare needs (dental, optical, wellbeing)
- An Employee Assistance Programme offering face to face counselling, plus legal and financial support
- A fun stimulating and collaborating culture, with company events
- Service awards after 3, 5 and 10 year
- Committees to join – Culture team, Equity Diversity & Inclusion
- Bike to work scheme
- Half day Fridays for 9 months of the year
Being different is how we started. And it’s also helped us raise $1 billion for men’s health. So, we know the power of diverse experiences, skills and perspectives.
Movember is committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive community and workplace - a place where we can all be ourselves, and each have the equal opportunity to succeed and be recognised for our unique contribution. We value the experiences, skills and perspectives of all individuals and actively encourage applications from people with diverse backgrounds. We make recruitment decisions based on applicants’ skills, experience and knowledge, ensuring all applicants are treated fairly.
Do you want to DO GOOD?
If so, we’d love to hear from you.
