As Maintenance Manager, you’ll lead our maintenance operations with confidence and care, ensuring every piece of equipment, system, and facility performs at its best. You’ll guide a high-performing team, respond quickly to challenges, and maintain the standards that keep our environment welcoming, reliable, and safe.

What You Will Do In This Splendid Role

• Lead and coach the maintenance team
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance
• Oversee equipment upgrades and repairs
• Troubleshoot using control systems and technical diagrams
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain accurate records
• Liaise with Hotel Management and staff to carry out required painting, redecoration and general maintenance duties
• Carry out all administrative work related to maintenance operations, ensuring all jobs are accurately logged from request through to completion

What Makes You Splendid

We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Manager who can combine strong technical knowledge with great people and organisational skills.

You'll bring:

• Experience in hotel, hospitality, facilities or a similar maintenance environment.
• Experience leading or supervising a maintenance team.
• Strong knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance, repairs and building services.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and interpret technical diagrams and control systems.
• Good understanding of health & safety, compliance and maintenance standards.
• Practical experience across general building maintenance, including painting and redecoration.
• Strong organisation and administration skills, including accurate job logging and maintenance records.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with Hotel Management and operational teams.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on keeping the hotel safe, compliant and operating smoothly.
