About the Role

As a Lead AI Solutions Consultant, you’ll be a key point of contact for our clients and delivery teams, leading AI solution discovery, definition and delivery across complex projects and programmes. You’ll work independently to identify where AI can create genuine business value, translate complex business and operational challenges into practical, safe and effective solutions, and ensure these are ready to be delivered and adopted.

You’ll work across the AI development lifecycle, from low-code agents through to enterprise AI solutions, collaborating with Developers, Solution Architects and governance specialists to balance business needs, technical feasibility and responsible AI requirements. You’ll also play a key role in coaching and mentoring other consultants, sharing best practice and helping raise the quality of our AI delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• AI Solution Design: Design practical, scalable AI solutions that address client needs and deliver measurable business value.
• Client Advisory: Build trusted relationships with clients, understanding their challenges and identifying opportunities to apply AI effectively.
• Discovery & Strategy: Lead discovery sessions to define AI use cases, strategies, roadmaps and priorities.
• Solution Delivery: Translate business needs into clear solution designs and work with technical teams to deliver effective AI-enabled solutions.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and support colleagues, sharing knowledge and helping build capability across our AI consulting practice.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an experienced and confident Lead AI Solutions Consultant who can operate independently, lead through influence and build strong client relationships. You’ll be comfortable working in complex and ambiguous environments, bringing structure to challenging business problems and identifying where AI can deliver genuine value.

You’ll combine strong analytical and consulting skills with a practical understanding of AI, data and technology delivery. You’ll be confident working across business, technical and governance teams, challenging assumptions, facilitating decisions and translating AI opportunities into practical, testable and well-governed solutions.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Eligibility for Security Clearance
• Significant experience in Business Analysis, Solutions Consulting or technology delivery.
• Proven experience delivering AI, ML, GenAI or intelligent automation solutions.
• Strong client-facing, stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical, testable AI solutions.
• Understanding of AI governance, responsible AI, risk and quality.
• Strong knowledge of requirements, process modelling and Agile delivery.
• Experience with backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria and UAT.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira or similar delivery tools.
• Experience supporting AI adoption, change and transition to BAU.
• Proven experience coaching and mentoring other analysts or consultants.

Desirable Skills:

• Consultancy experience and/or experience working directly with clients.
• Experience in legal, defence, government, public sector or other regulated environments.
• Experience on infrastructure, technology, data or transformation projects.
• Project experience with Microsoft AI technologies, including Microsoft Copilot Studio and/or Microsoft Foundry.
• Understanding of AI agent design, prompt engineering and evaluation techniques.
