The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Junior Controller to join the Global Media HQ Finance team. Reporting to the TAAG & Corporate Finance Manager, you will take ownership of a broad international scope combining entity controlling, financial planning, cross-market recharge management and business partnering.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end finance processes currently managed within the TAAG and Corporate Finance perimeter. This includes the financial management of DE3774, coordination of the TAAG Cost+ model, oversight of Global Media service recharges and close collaboration with operational and finance teams across markets.

This is a visible, hands-on role for someone who enjoys turning complex data and processes into clear financial insight, reliable execution and practical improvements. You will gain exposure to senior stakeholders and contribute directly to the quality, transparency and scalability of Global Media's finance operations.

Why this role stands out

International exposure across finance, operations and market teams

Meaningful ownership of an end-to-end finance perimeter

A strong platform to develop controlling, FP&A and business partnering skills

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Financial Controlling & Planning

  • Own the monthly financial reporting and controlling activities for the DE3774 entity, covering costs, recharges and related financial flows.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and clear explanations of key variances.
  • Lead the monthly rolling forecast, including confirmed and pipeline personnel costs, operating expenses, recharge assumptions and HFM submissions.
  • Support annual budget and periodic forecast cycles, coordinating inputs and follow-up with relevant stakeholders.
  • Partner with HR and Payroll teams on headcount and salary reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and post required journals.
  • Coordinate Groupe reporting requests, including short-term forecasts, variance analysis and resolution of reporting mismatches.
  • Support statutory and internal audits and complete quarterly internal-control self-assessments.
  • Improve reporting quality, forecasting accuracy, documentation and financial governance.

TAAG Cost+ Model

  • Coordinate the end-to-end collection of digital-spend data with Global TAAG, regional controllers, market finance teams and PGD.
  • Challenge and reconcile submitted data to support completeness, consistency and alignment between operational and finance sources.
  • Calculate the Cost+ recharge, validate the outputs and communicate results clearly to markets.
  • Coordinate the related purchase-order and billing requirements and monitor recharge execution through completion.
  • Organise regular status reviews, track open items and support stakeholders in resolving data, allocation or invoicing issues.
  • Drive greater transparency, standardisation and efficiency across the process, including opportunities for automation.

Global Media Service Recharges & PGD Enablement

  • Work with PGD Enablement and Global Media stakeholders to assess rechargeable costs and confirm the appropriate allocation to markets.
  • Oversee the recharge-out process, from cost validation and supporting documentation through invoicing and follow-up.
  • Help market finance and local operations teams understand recharge methodologies, financial impacts and required actions.
  • Maintain clear process documentation, controls and audit trails across recharge activities.

Business Partnering & Team Coordination

  • Act as a trusted finance partner to Global TAAG operational teams and Global Media stakeholders.
  • Build effective relationships with finance teams across regions and communicate complex financial topics in a clear, practical way.
  • Present financial analysis, risks, actions and recommendations with confidence and strong business judgement.
  • Coordinate and support one offshore PGD team member responsible for purchase-order and billing activities.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing, process transformation and continuous-improvement initiatives across the wider finance team.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

Experience

  • Hands-on experience in management reporting, forecasting, P&L analysis and balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Experience working in a complex, international or multi-stakeholder organisation.
  • Exposure to cost allocations, intercompany recharges, shared services or similar finance processes is advantageous.
  • Experience coordinating a remote or offshore resource is a plus.

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with large and detailed datasets.
  • Advanced Excel capability, including financial models, reconciliations and data analysis.
  • Good understanding of ERP and financial planning systems such as SAP and Hyperion, or equivalent tools.
  • Professional fluency in English, with clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
