At Queensmith, we understand that our greatest asset is our exceptional team. The Jewellery Mounter is an integral

member of the team, assisting in the production of all orders designed and manufactured in house. The role will involve

carrying out a number of jewellery mounting tasks in a competent and tidy manner to ensure the production team are

able to complete orders on time and meet our exacting high standards. The requirement to work quickly and efficiently

whilst having an eye for detail and being flexible in the approach to your role is essential. Your contributions are integral

to our journey.

  • Assisting in the manufacture of jewellery
  • Casting cleaning & multi-piece assemblies of 18ct Gold & Platinum
  • Completing tasks in a timely manner as per the manufacturing notes
  • Understand & adhere to our quality standards
  • Ring resizing & general intermediate repairs
  • Use of a microscope & laser welder
  • Polishing to a high standard
  • Clearly communicating any queries which may arise during production
  • Following company procedures when processing client orders
  • Accurately record timings of own productivity
  • Assisting Lead Goldsmith or Head of Manufacturing when required
  • Maintaining a tidy bench
  • To be a representative of the workshop and workshop etiquette
  • Strong technical understanding of Jewellery manufacturing processes
  • Confident ability to work on a variety of intermediate & advanced-level bespoke designs
  • Work using a microscope
  • Working knowledge of our laser technology
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate a high level of quality control
  • Follow company security procedures
  • Engaging with clients on workshop tours when required
