Key responsibilities will include the evaluation of real estate investment and development / leasing opportunities, market research, and supporting all asset classes and regional teams on transaction executions.

  • Evaluation and interpretation of real estate, economic and public company data, including financial statements, to conduct valuation and operational benchmarking
  • Preparation of documents for internal and external purposes, including assembly of investment committee memos, strategy papers and presentations to partners
  • Supporting the ongoing management of the existing portfolio alongside the investment team

You will be a penultimate-year student, i.e. with one further year of study remaining after the internship (whether the final year of an undergraduate / postgraduate degree, or having completed an undergraduate degree with a place secured for a one-year postgraduate degree). Oxford’s intention is to provide a full-time Analyst offer upon graduation the following year, subject to performance and resourcing requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Robust analytical and financial modelling skills, as demonstrated either through work experience or academics
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English
  • Strong, inquisitive nature and genuine curiosity about real estate and financial markets, with a clear desire to build a career in real estate

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Strong academic grades in your transcript
  • Experience in investment / financial analysis and transaction support, ideally within commercial real estate
  • Experience in presentation preparation and research
  • Fluency in German, French or other languages aligned with Oxford’s strategy
  • Willingness to collaborate across time zones and geographies in Europe, as required
  • Team player; self-starter; professional and positive attitude; diligent; able to take initiative and work well in a small, dynamic and relatively flat team

What we offer

  • A paid internship with compensation aligned to our first-year Analyst programme, reflecting the caliber of talent we are looking to attract
  • Where the internship is successful, the opportunity to receive an offer to return as a full-time Analyst commencing Summer 2028, subject to performance
  • Direct exposure to senior investment professionals, live deals and the day-to-day work of a global real estate platform

Important Information

Right to work / visas: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the internship. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this internship. Foreign nationals holding a valid student visa can typically undertake a full-time summer internship without sponsorship, provided they continue to meet the conditions of their visa – please ensure you are able to satisfy these requirements before applying.

Technical assessment

Successful applicants will be asked to complete a timed Excel financial modelling test. Candidates are expected to understand basic real estate concepts and to be able to build a simple, dynamic financial model. No professional modelling experience is required.

The modelling test is just one component of the overall selection process.

No professional modelling experience is required to complete the modelling test, but we recommended practicing using Joshua Kahr’s case studies, linked here.

Open Day

Successful candidates will be invited to an Open Day in our London office in November to meet with the team.

Applications will close on

Applications will close on Sunday October 18th at 11:59pm GMT.
