Company
Our client is a globally recognised organisation with an international footprint and a strong reputation within the creative sector. Operating across multiple countries, they are undertaking a significant enterprise-wide technology transformation, modernising their core business systems and building a scalable, cloud-first architecture to support future growth.
Technology is becoming a strategic capability within the business, with a major focus on creating long-term internal engineering expertise rather than relying on external consultancies.
Role Description
This is an opportunity to join an organisation in the early stages of a major two-year transformation programme, where MuleSoft sits at the heart of the future integration architecture. As legacy platforms are progressively decomposed, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering API-led integrations across a modern technology estate including Salesforce, SaaS ERP, Snowflake, finance platforms, WMS and eCommerce solutions.
This role combines hands-on engineering with architectural influence. You'll work closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable integrations while helping establish integration standards, best practices and the organisation's long-term MuleSoft capability. The business is committed to building a high-performing in-house integration team, offering the opportunity to shape both the platform and the function as it evolves.
Role Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain enterprise integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Build scalable API-led connectivity across cloud, SaaS and enterprise applications.
- Define and promote integration standards, governance and best practices.
- Deliver integrations across Salesforce, ERP, Snowflake, finance, warehouse management and eCommerce platforms.
- Collaborate with architects, product teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Support production integrations through monitoring, optimisation and incident resolution.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation and contribute to engineering standards.
- Help build long-term internal MuleSoft capability, reducing reliance on third-party consultancies.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience developing integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Experience delivering API-led integration solutions within large-scale transformation programmes.
- Knowledge of enterprise integrations involving Salesforce, ERP platforms and cloud-based applications.
- Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, integration security, API governance and CI/CD practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience integrating platforms such as Snowflake, Shopify, finance systems or warehouse management systems.
- Exposure to AWS, Docker, Kubernetes or event-driven architectures.
- Experience helping define integration strategy, architecture or engineering standards within an enterprise environment.
