A rare opportunity has arisen to join the HR team at Chatham House. We are looking for a people-centred, curious and values-driven HR Manager to join our ambitious, high-performing team.

We are a small but mighty team: collaborative, forward-thinking and focused on delivering real value. The role would suit someone looking to broaden their strategic HR experience and, over time, develop towards a future Head of HR position.

We welcome applications from people with diverse backgrounds and experiences, including those returning to work following a career break. Support towards CIPD development may be available.

What you’ll do

  • Manage complex employee relations cases, including redundancies.
  • Build trusted stakeholder relationships across the organisation.
  • Provide practical HR advice and guidance.
  • Contribute to HR projects and policy development.
  • Promote an inclusive and positive employee experience.

Benefits:

Salary: £45,000 per year.

Contract: Full-time, Permanent.

Location: St James's Square, London. This is a hybrid role based in our London office. The successful candidate will be expected to work onsite at least 2 days per week.
