Head of Revenue & Business Operations
Hyperlayer
About the role
- We are looking for a Head of Revenue & Business Operations to own both our revenue engine and cross-functional operational excellence. This is a high-impact role where you’ll serve as a strategic force multiplier for leadership, aligning our Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams around a single source of truth, while driving the company-wide planning and execution that enables Hyperlayer to scale.
- You’ll manage and grow the Revenue & Business Operations team while owning the GTM tech stack, revenue forecasting, and company-wide operating cadences, bringing both strategic rigour and hands-on execution to everything from board reporting to CRM architecture. This is a demanding role at a company moving quickly: you will be operating on short timelines, with incomplete information, for clients whose standards are high and whose scrutiny is real.
What you'll do
- Lead and scale the Revenue & Business Operations team – managing, coaching, and developing Associates and Senior Associates, and creating an environment where people at the earliest stages of their careers learn quickly and do their best work.
- Own and optimise the GTM tech stack, including CRM, sales engagement tooling, and data/BI platforms, ensuring high data quality, adoption, and ROI across all commercial teams.
- Build and own revenue forecasting models and GTM dashboards; maintaining an accurate view of pipeline coverage, CAC, LTV, and NRR, and presenting insights to the CEO, CCO, and board.
- Own the sales enablement function; maintaining high-quality, up-to-date collateral (presentations, one-pagers, mock-ups) and a central knowledge hub where teams can easily find and use the right materials.
- Partner closely with the sales team across different product lines to deliver client-specific decks and research that give us an edge in pitches and workshops.
- Ensure global alignment – adapting sales support to the nuances of North America, Asia Pacific, UK, and EMEA markets.
- Contribute to client engagement – joining key meetings and workshops.
- Act as the CEO/COO’s strategic execution partner: identifying and resolving cross-functional bottlenecks, running high-priority special projects, and ensuring the leadership team operates with rigour and speed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in a Revenue Operations, Business Operations, or GTM strategy role in a high-growth B2B technology business, ideally fintech or payments, with a clear track record of owning both the operational machinery and the strategic agenda, not just supporting them.
- Hands-on CRM ownership – you’ve architected and run HubSpot or Salesforce end-to-end, improved data quality and pipeline visibility, and built the revenue reporting that a leadership team actually trusts. Experience designing GTM operating models (lead-to-revenue process, handoff SLAs, attribution frameworks) is essential.
- Structured thinking and a high bar for output quality – you can operate at board level, set the standard for the work your team produces, while being comfortable rolling up your sleeves.
- Experience managing and developing people, with a genuine interest in nurturing talent from the earliest stages of a career – managing, coaching, and raising the quality of their contribution.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication – from decks to direction. You can hold the room with the CEO or CCO, write the paper that convinces them or the client, and bring clarity and direction to the most junior analyst.
- Comfortable with pace and ambiguity – you can prioritise ruthlessly when everything is urgent, produce work of a standard that stands up to enterprise clients, and keep your team steady while doing it.
- A working knowledge of financial services – retail and commercial banking, payments, and the commercial and regulatory forces shaping them – and the curiosity to deepen it quickly. Enough to hold your own with Tier 1 enterprise clients and with our own Sales and Product teams across our key markets (North America, Asia Pacific, UK, and EMEA).
- Proficiency with CRM (including pipeline management, reporting, and workflow automation), PowerPoint, LLMs and ideally design tools; familiarity with BI tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, or similar) is a strong plus.
