Job Description

Purpose Of The Job

As a member of Ocorian’s executive leadership team, you will shape the strategic direction and performance of the Issuer Services business, strengthening its position as a trusted provider in the capital markets sector.

You will be accountable for the commercial, financial, operational and regulatory performance of the portfolio, defining and executing a clear strategy that aligns client needs, market opportunity and long-term value creation.

Leading across multiple jurisdictions, you will create meaningful shareholder value from this business, enhance client experience, improve operational effectiveness and ensure the business continues to meet its legal, regulatory and fiduciary obligations.

Location: London, England or New York, US.

Main Responsibilities

  • Financial Management – Lead the financial performance of the Issuer Services business, delivering agreed revenue, sales, profitability and budget objectives. Monitor performance against plan, manage budgets and headcount, oversee pricing strategies and commercial arrangements, and provide robust business and financial forecasts aligned to agreed targets.
  • Operational Excellence – Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of issuer services across all jurisdictions by establishing and monitoring service standards, KPIs and operational controls. Drive process improvement, automation and scalability initiatives, allocate resources effectively to meet client demand, and oversee business continuity and operational resilience arrangements.
  • Strategy Development – Review and develop a clear strategy for each business line within the Issuer Services portfolio, grounded in client alignment, market opportunity, competitive position, right to win and financial performance. Align the strategy with other business units across the Group to optimise commercial, operational and client outcomes.
  • Strategic Delivery – Execute the agreed strategy with pace, discipline and conviction. Secure the investment, resourcing, Board approvals and business or functional support required to deliver strategic priorities, while managing the associated change process and delivering against approved business cases.
  • Team Leadership and Development – Spend meaningful time with teams across jurisdictions to build understanding of local cultures, market dynamics, client needs, challenges and opportunities. Establish clear goals, drive performance, support career development and recognise individual and team success. Develop talent management and succession plans to attract, retain and grow high-performing talent.
  • Ocorian Leadership – As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, represent Issuer Services in Group-wide discussions and actively contribute to broader strategic, commercial and operational decision-making in support of Ocorian’s Group objectives.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience leading multi-jurisdictional businesses of significant scale and complexity, with accountability for strategic execution, operational performance and financial oversight.
  • Strong P&L leadership, with a track record of delivering sustainable revenue growth, margin improvement and commercial performance through new business acquisition, client retention, cross-selling and strategic account development.
  • Understanding of the Issuer Services market including structures, governance frameworks, regulatory environments
  • Demonstrated strategic and transformation capability, including portfolio review, operating model design, business integration, organisational restructuring and large-scale change delivery.
  • Experience operating in highly regulated environments, with credibility in Board, regulator, investor and senior stakeholder engagement.
  • Established track record of leading geographically dispersed, multi-layered teams, building high-performance cultures and delivering results through periods of growth, change and transformation.
  • Client-centric commercial leader with experience owning senior client relationships, identifying market opportunities and developing scalable go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong strategic judgement and decision-making capability, with experience evaluating investment, integration, optimisation and portfolio-shaping opportunities to maximise long-term value.
