The Team

Inspired by the character and charm of a traditional drawing room, Scarfes Bar combines creative cocktails, live entertainment, and world-class hospitality in a truly unique setting. Reporting to the Outlet Manager, you will work alongside a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences every day.

Your Role

As a Head Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional bar experiences through the creation of high-quality beverages, leading by example on the floor, and guiding the bar team to consistently achieve Rosewood's renowned service standards. You will play a key role in the smooth day-to-day operation of the bar, ensuring excellence in service, product quality, team development, and guest satisfaction.

How You’ll Make The Place

• Deliver all bar-related aspects of the guest experience in line with Rosewood standards and ensure the team consistently adheres to these standards.
• Ensure all beverage preparation, bar set-up, and close-down procedures are completed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Effectively communicate, prioritise, and delegate tasks within a sophisticated and fast-paced environment.
• Oversee the efficient operation and cleanliness of the bar, including stock ordering and inventory management.
• Manage cash handling and account transactions accurately and professionally.
• Ensure a high-quality drinks offering is consistently available and delivered by a knowledgeable and well-trained team.
• Lead, coach, and develop Barbacks, Bartenders, and Assistant Bartenders to support their growth and enhance the overall guest experience.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve service delivery and exceed guest expectations.

• You are an expert in mixology and have experience working in a high-volume, luxury bar environment.

• You communicate effectively and are comfortable prioritising and delegating tasks to ensure a seamless service experience.
• You take pride in maintaining an efficient, well-presented bar operation, including stock management, cleanliness, and financial accountability.
• You are committed to delivering the Rosewood brand promise and consistently exceeding guest expectations.
• You enjoy building genuine relationships with guests and colleagues and contribute positively to a collaborative team culture.
