Governance Assistant

Role
Reform UK is seeking a Governance Assistant to support the administration of party governance matters, including disciplinary processes, as well as assisting with the vetting of candidates.
The role is therefore focused on matters of a highly sensitive and confidential nature.
Integrity, sound judgement and the ability to maintain absolute discretion at all times are essential.
Key tasks
The role will include:
- Supporting governance procedures, including the preparation of reports for the Discipline Committee
- Maintaining accurate records and databases, including for those progressing through the defections process
- Drafting professional and factually accurate correspondence
- Assisting with the vetting of candidates.
- Handling sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality.
Essential skills and attributes
- Clear understanding of the importance of confidentiality
- Adaptability and being able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent administrative skills, including strong proficiency in Excel and database management
- Strong written communication skills
- Organised, reliable and having a high attention to detail.
