As a Balance Sheet & Liquidity Control Lead in the Global Equities Product Control team, you will partner with stakeholders across Finance, Business Management, and the Global Equities business to analyze and manage the balance sheet and liquidity position. You will contribute to the production and control of reporting, build technology capabilities, and help drive enhanced front-to-back reporting. Your role will involve collaborating with Financial Resource Management, Corporate & Investment Bank Treasury, Front Office, and Product Control, ensuring our reporting needs are met and supporting the team’s culture of innovation and excellence.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the design of a Funding Balance Sheet for Global Equities
- Understand multiple system flows and ‘reconcile’ to the Business Activity
- Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders – Treasury, Business Heads and Finance Management
- Work across both Equites and Fixed Income counterparts to ensure consistent deliverables for the firm
- Highlight opportunities for process rationalisation and improvements to Senior Management
- Manage the design and implementation of new solutions, particularly Intelligent Solutions leveraging Digital Accelerator tools (Alteryx, Tableau etc.)

- Strong Excel and Alteryx skills.

- Well-organized, ability to prioritise competing requirements, multi-task with a flexible working style, meet deadlines and work under pressure.

- Strong control and efficiency mindset, with an aptitude for designing and building robust and efficient processes.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Banking experience and understanding of equities products as well as balance sheet forecasting, liquidity and transfer pricing concepts are desirable.
