Experienced Mental Health Social Worker
Croydon Council
Salary range: Grade 12 £51,738 £53,919 p.a. plus fantastic benefits
Contract: Permanent
Hours of work: 36 hours per week
Location: Croydon
Croydon is taking a place-based approach, focusing on statutory responsibilities, prevention and early intervention, and taking a whole family, strengths-based recovery approach; working alongside residents and their families to maximise their life chances and outcomes. The role operates within that context.
Following an organisational restructure in Adult Social Care Mental Health Service, the opportunity to step into the role of an Experienced Mental Health Social Worker has become available.
The position offers excellent opportunities for an experienced social worker with considerable expertise, skills and experience to work autonomously, demonstrating and modelling exemplary standards of practice, supporting social workers, non-qualified practitioners and students within the service.
Applicants will need to demonstrate a firm commitment to undertake all relevant trainings to qualify and be approved as an Approved Mental Health Professional.
