Executive Assistant
PCS
Great executive support means being able to turn a brief conversation into a clear plan, anticipate what’s needed and handle sensitive matters with sound judgement.
At Person Centred Software, we’re looking for an Executive Assistant who can build a trusted partnership with our CEO, while supporting the wider C-suite. You’ll bring structure to busy schedules, keep important actions moving and help our leaders focus their time where it matters most.
We’re a growing technology business helping care professionals deliver better care through software. Working closely with our leadership team, you’ll gain exposure to business priorities, strategic projects and decisions that shape our future.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll need to be comfortable working from a short brief or limited information. The CEO won’t always have time to explain every detail, so you’ll use the context available, ask focused questions and take ownership of the next steps.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing complex diaries, protecting time for key priorities and resolving competing demands.
- Turning brief requests and conversations into clear actions, coordinating input and following through.
- Preparing reports, presentations, board papers and briefing packs, bringing together information from across the business.
- Coordinating domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries and last-minute changes.
- Organising leadership meetings, events and offsites.
- Tracking decisions, actions and deadlines, keeping people accountable and flagging issues early.
- Supporting cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives.
- Handling confidential business and people matters with care, discretion and professionalism.
What you’ll bring
You’ll be someone the CEO can rely on to get things moving without needing detailed instructions at every stage. You’ll know when you have enough information to act, when to clarify and when a decision needs to come back to them.
Discretion is central to this role. You’ll have access to sensitive conversations and information, and we’ll trust you to exercise good judgement about what is shared, with whom and when.
You’ll also bring the confidence to build relationships across the business, chase outstanding actions and challenge respectfully when priorities or deadlines are at risk.
We’re looking for:
- Significant experience supporting a CEO or other C-suite leaders.
- Strong judgement and the ability to work independently from limited direction.
- A proven ability to handle confidential and commercially sensitive information.
- Exceptional organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail.
- Experience managing complex diaries and international travel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to turn information into clear, concise briefings.
- Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness.
- Confidence using Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams.
- A calm, flexible approach when plans change or urgent requests arise.
- The ability to work from Central London or Guildford, with flexibility to travel between both locations.
Experience in a growing or changing organisation, board-level support, project coordination or business integration would also be valuable.
Why join us?
You’ll work closely with our CEO and senior leaders, with the opportunity to make a tangible difference to how the leadership team operates.
There’s scope to take ownership, improve how things are done and become a trusted partner in a business whose software supports care professionals and the people in their care.
If you enjoy bringing clarity to complexity and take pride in being someone others can depend on, we’d love to hear from you.
