The Team
You will join the Banqueting team, working alongside the Events Operations team and reporting to the Event Operations Manager. You will collaborate closely with the Assistant Event Operations Manager, Events Floor Managers and Events Floor Supervisors to prepare for and deliver memorable events.
Your Role
As Events Waiter, you will support the smooth delivery of events by preparing function spaces, maintaining operational equipment and providing attentive service to clients and guests.
Working as part of the wider Events team, you will follow function requirements, respond to changing operational needs and help maintain Rosewood London’s service, safety and presentation standards.
How You’ll Make The Place
- Prepare for forthcoming events and help ensure function rooms are set and ready 30 minutes before each event.
- Support event set-up and breakdown, ensuring rooms are left neat or prepared for the next function.
- Provide attentive service to event clients and guests, responding promptly to requests and last-minute changes.
- Work with Events Operations managers and supervisors to deliver each event according to the relevant function sheet.
- Ensure glasses, plates, linen and other operational equipment are polished, prepared and ready for use.
- Maintain departmental, health and safety standards while reporting accidents, defects, damage and breakages through the appropriate procedures.
