We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Engineering Execution, Foundational Solutions to join our team. This role is located in London.

Role summary:

The Director, Engineering Strategy Execution & Enablement drives disciplined execution of strategic priorities across the engineering organization. This role supports the Head of Foundational Solutions Engineering, leading engineering change initiatives, advances engineering practice engagement and enablement, and delivers analytics-driven insights that improve performance, reliability, and delivery outcomes. The role is central to digital transformation—modernizing processes, enabling AI-informed decision-making, and embedding automation to scale impact.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Strategy Execution & Portfolio Governance - Translate engineering strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps with clear milestones, owners, and success metrics.
  • Change Management & Adoption - Design and lead change management plans (stakeholder mapping, communications, training, adoption metrics) for engineering-wide initiatives. Establish feedback loops and adoption dashboards to measure and accelerate behavioural change and sustained outcomes. Partner with leaders to remove blockers, align incentives, and reinforce new ways of working.
  • Engineering Practice Engagement & Enablement - Engage discipline leads (e.g., SWE, SRE, Quality, Architecture, Data) to codify standards, playbooks, and best practices. Execute enablement programs within Foundational Solutions to improve delivery quality, velocity, and reliability. Facilitate cross-practice collaboration and knowledge sharing to reduce rework and improve consistency.
  • Operating Model & Ways of Working - Support evolution of the engineering operating model; align practices, roles, and rituals (e.g., planning cadences, retrospectives). Promote Agile, disciplined execution, and CI/CD adoption; measure adherence and outcomes with consistent scorecards.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Significant experience in strategy execution, engineering operations, change management or related roles within technology organizations
  • Strong knowledge of engineering practices (DevOps, SRE, Architecture) and agile ways of working. Hands-on experience with analytics and familiarity with AI concepts and practical use cases.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional programs and driving delivery.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills; ability to engage senior leaders and technical teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
