Digital Design Consultant Manager - FTC

About the role:

Responsible for the talent, development and coaching strategies for the firm, the Talent, Development & Coaching Centre of Excellence (TD&C CoE) partners with the business to deliver high quality development opportunities that enable both the firm’s strategic priorities and individual growth of our people. We are a team of well-connected people professionals who bring creativity, expertise and market insights and work with subject matter experts in our business to respond to the development needs of the firm. Reporting into the Digital Design Team Lead, the Digital Design Consultant (FTC role) is responsible for partnering with the Design Consultants and SMEs within the Design Hub to understand the business and learning objectives for a particular training need, to propose digital and technology based solutions that will enhance learning experiences to meet these needs. They are responsible for advising on, and supporting the implementation of new and existing technologies for these programmes, including considering appropriate risk management activities.

What your days will look like:

• Propose, create/curate and implement technology enabled learning experiences at a programmatic level, and, in partnership with the Innovation and Insights team, provide consultation services and support to the wider Design Hub team in the adoption of new and existing digital and technology based solutions.

• Collaborate with the Innovation and Insights team to pilot and implement new technology & tools into TD&C programmes, including supporting their transition to BAU and contributing to any process documentation for their adoption.

• Maintain knowledge and understanding of the products and services of our existing technology based suppliers and make appropriate recommendations as necessary.

• Demonstrate a creative approach to learning design and articulate how technology could be leveraged to augment learner’s experiences and increase learning effectiveness.

This role is for you if:

• You've supported conversations with relevant business stakeholders e.g. SMEs, to enable learning content development.
• Led the briefing and training of onsite team members, facilitators and/or hosts in relation to technology aspects of programmes, to either equip them to be able to deliver learning content or to deliver onsite design requirements.
• Maintained and developed tools to support the CoE in the delivery of technology enhanced learning solutions e.g. Digital Learning Toolkit.
• Worked closely with People Solutions Learning Experience teams and Integrated Services Events teams to ensure all logistical requirements to run programmes are clearly defined and project plans are maintained.
