Community Manager

About the Role: You will be responsible for all aspects of our growing community ecosystem, building a deeply connected brand community that drives advocacy, awareness, and long-term loyalty. This role blends customer experience, social media, community management and PR - with a strong focus on execution and relationship building. You’ll manage VIPs, nurture our brand community, and help bring campaigns and events to life both online and IRL.
Full-time | Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
While your core hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm, this role offers flexibility, with occasional out-of-hours work required to support the needs of the business.

About Bleach London: Bleach London is the home of experimental hair. Founded in 2010 by visionary colourist Alex Brownsell, we’ve built a global community of DIY colour lovers — with 3 salons, recognition from Vogue, i-D, and Dazed, and a DIY colour range stocked in Walmart, Boots, and CVS, Bleach London continues to set trends and inspire a new generation of colour lovers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reactive and Proactive social media interactions
- Running closed community groups
- Producing exclusive community content, challenges and initiatives
- Managing content calendar for Instagram Stories and TikTok Stories
- VIP and brand ambassador outreach
- Relationship tracking
- Product Gifting and Mailers
- VIP relations
- Coordinate paid ambassador campaigns and partnerships
- Support planning and execution of community and PR events
- Tracking performance against KPIs
What Success Looks Like:
- High response rates and positive sentiment across comments and DMs
- Strong influencer and VIP retention
- Organic advocacy and mentions
- Event attendance
- Community members who feel personally connected to the brand
About You:
- Min 2 years working in a community, social media, influencer, PR role or similar within the beauty or consumer space.
- Digital native with a good understanding of Gen Z culture and the beauty landscape.
- Exceptionally strong communicator and relationship-builder - you thrive in a role where people are at the center.
- Good understanding of hair colour products and techniques or willingness to learn.
