We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced and commercially minded Client Growth Marketing Manager to join our modern London office (hybrid working).

Reporting to the Head of Marketing Campaigns (UK Employee Benefits), you will lead marketing to our existing corporate Employee Benefits clients, promoting the wider services and consulting support they do not yet buy. Working closely with marketing and growth teams, and with client management and consulting colleagues, you will turn client data into a ranked view of opportunity, then design and execute the marketing that converts it. Client teams own the relationships and the revenue; you will own the marketing that creates and supports the conversation.

A snapshot of your day:

  • Own the Employee Benefits client growth marketing strategy, cross-selling and upselling across the client portfolio and driving increased client value, service adoption and revenue growth.
  • Partner with client management, consulting and sales teams to convert opportunities into meaningful client conversations and commercial outcomes; delivering targeted marketing campaigns, webinars, events and communications focused on named clients and identified growth opportunities.
  • Agree a shared set of measures with the client teams, including services per client, conversations created, pipeline value, and event attendance converting to a documented next step; and measure, track and optimise client growth activity through clear KPIs, data and reporting including pipeline generation, service penetration and client engagement.
  • Analyse client, CRM and market data to identify growth opportunities, uncover whitespace, and create prioritised client opportunity plans; turning analysis into a ranked, prioritised target list, refreshed through the year, giving client teams a focused list of named opportunities to work.
  • Design and plan integrated client marketing campaigns, content and communications; Acting on the target list in two ways: targeted communications and activity where an individual client needs it, and weaving client growth into activity we already run.
  • Own the client event programme as a core part of the client growth plan, and plan and deliver a regular client communications programme that gives clients a reason to hear from us between renewals.
  • Work with the relevant teams to create the sales enablement materials: conversation pointers, thematic toolkits, case studies and proof that client teams use in live conversations.
  • Work with proposition owners and subject matter experts to take wider services to existing clients, including pensions, flexible benefits, employee communications and consulting
  • Collaboration and stakeholder engagement; Incorporate client feedback and insight into campaign development and optimisation; and support sales leadership, who own adoption and the embedding of cross-selling behaviours in client and sales consultants.

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Extensive experience in B2B marketing, with a strong track record in marketing to existing clients: cross-sell, upsell, retention and lifecycle marketing.
  • Experience designing and executing client marketing plans end to end, from analysis through to delivery and measurement, as well as working closely with client-facing and sales teams to create and convert opportunity.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation, CRM and campaign management tools, with confidence working with client and service data.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to link marketing activity to business outcomes.
  • Confident working with data, able to interpret a client book and turn it into a prioritised plan.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and project management skills, with the credibility to influence client-facing teams.
  • Self-sufficient, proactive and organised, comfortable owning a plan and working at pace.

Desirable

  • CIM qualification and/or a marketing-related degree.
  • Experience of marketing in employee benefits, health, insurance, or professional services or knowledge of the benefits or pensions market is advantageous but not essential.

What's in it for you:
