Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.

With a strong national footprint, the Carlsberg Britvic business includes 5 production facilities and 16 logistics depot’s servicing customers up and down the UK. As these two historical businesses have come together, the one common goal remains, and that is ensuring our people succeed.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive the Carlsberg Excellence programme, embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the business.
  • Champion operational excellence initiatives that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people performance.
  • Coach, train, and mentor leaders and teams on continuous improvement tools, lean methodologies, and problem solving.
  • Lead focused improvement projects to eliminate waste, reduce losses, and deliver measurable business results.
  • Develop and sustain performance management systems that provide clear visibility of KPIs and operational priorities.
  • Facilitate workshops, Gemba activities, and improvement events that build capability and drive engagement.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business strategy into practical improvement plans and actions.
  • Promote best practice sharing, benchmarking, and standardisation to improve consistency and performance.
  • Support change programmes and transformation initiatives, ensuring sustainable adoption of new ways of working.
  • Act as a trusted Continuous Improvement leader, driving accountability, capability development, and long-term business performance.

Experience and Key Attributes:

  • Proven experience driving continuous improvement through Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Strong track record of delivering sustainable operational performance improvements.
  • Excellent project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of end-to-end business processes.
  • Ability to influence, engage, and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experienced in leading, coaching, and developing teams to deliver change.
  • Confident facilitator and presenter, able to drive capability building across the business.
  • Adaptable leadership style with a customer-focused, results-driven approach.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in analysing and presenting data.
  • Experience in a Continuous Improvement role with demonstrable achievements is highly desirable.
