Buying Admin Assistant - Home - 6-12 Month FTC

What you'll do

We’re looking for a Buying Admin Assistant to join our Home team within Fashion, Home & Beauty. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience within Buying, supporting the team to create exciting, commercial ranges that put our customers at the heart of every decision.

• Support the Buyer and Assistant Buyer in developing customer-focused, commercial ranges.
• Keep an eye on market and competitor trends, helping bring ideas and inspiration to the team.
• Help manage samples, product information and key buying deadlines.
• Support with range preparation, product development and sign-off.
• Work with teams across Design, Sourcing, Marketing, Retail and Ecommerce to bring our ranges to life.

What we need from you

As well as Organisation, attention to detail, commercial curiosity and a real passion for our products and customers. you will also need

• Passion for products and desire to learn about the brand and customer
• Systems experience or a clear demonstration of the ability to learn to use systems quickly
• Good communication skills; communicating clearly using phone, email, VC etc.
• Knowledge of, or strong desire to learn about the end to end Buying process to take responsibility for Critical Path Management
• Proactive in agreeing to take workload away from the assistant buyer where appropriate
• A digital and global mind-set that supports the growth of international and online business
